Happy Halloween - First Blog Post!

Happy Halloween, trick or treaters!
I realize that I'm about a day late in saying that, but as you can probably tell, 'Pure Utterance' was just made today!
And I have to say, starting off with the first blog entry dedicated to halloween, one word - marvelous!

So, first off I'm going to bring up the worst, best and most funniest halloween costumes that I had a privilege of spotting this year.
Spotting halloween costumes is a privilege?  Well, for me it is.  Australia doesn't really have the whole halloween thing down yet, so it's actually quite rare to see ghosts, goblins and slutty nurses walking about this time of year... or any time, really.

Worst Dressed:
Sexy Cabby - This one was really gross.  And to be honest, I don't know if the heavy set guy was dressed as something else or not.  The "sexy cabby" was spotted outside a busy shopping center around five a clock in the afternoon, sitting in his cab and waiting for his next tab of the day, wearing a black lacy bra, red heels and a leather, mini skirt and a matching feather boa.  Definitely something I do not want to see again... wonder if he got many tabs?

Best Dressed:
The best dressed award will have to go to my friend Matt.  His costume consisted of a pair of black speedos, goggles, snorkels, a yellow swimming cap, flippers and a round, clear balloon that had a stink bomb stuck to the end of it.  A swimmer who had made a lovely fart bubble.  Unfortunately for everyone at the party, the stink bomb was let off when Matt decided that he would risk sitting down.

Funniest:
The funniest costume that I've seen this halloween was probably, most definitely a guy I met at a halloween party who chose to dress as a big, grey rock.  He was suppose to be "Rock and Roll" - kind of lame but pretty funny when the guy spends the entire night rolling around on the ground because he was that desperate to win best dressed.

This halloween has definitely been an interesting one for me, hope it has been for you!
